How to Apply

Here, you’ll find everything you need to complete your application, from creating your Ravenna account to scheduling your interview and submitting recommendations.

  • Inquire and Create an Online Account

    Submit our inquiry form to get started—this creates your Ravenna account and adds you to our mailing list so you’ll receive key admissions updates.

    With a account, you can:
    • Complete student and parent application forms
    • Request teacher recommendations
    • Track your application progress
    • View your admissions decision on March 10
    Already have a Ravenna account? Just add The Cambridge School of Weston to your list of schools.

    CSW also accepts the Standard Application Online (SAO). Please note: SAO includes an additional processing fee. Even if you apply via SAO, you will still be required to create a Ravenna account to track your materials and view your decision. If you apply through SAO, you should not also submit an application form and fee through Ravenna. 

  • Schedule a Campus Tour and Interview

    Admissions interviews are required for all applicants and are offered both in-person and virtually. Tours and interviews take place on weekdays during the school day and should be scheduled by January 15, 2026 and completed by January 30, 2026.

    To schedule your interview, first create a Ravenna account and add CSW to your list of schools. Domestic applicants may self-schedule visits through Ravenna. International applicants or those with questions should contact us at admissions@csw.org or 781.642.8650.

  • Submit an Application

    Our online application platform, , guides you through every step of the process, including:

    Family Application Materials
    • Application for Admission
    • Application Fee: $75 (domestic) / $100 (international)
    (Fee waivers are available for families who qualify. Please contact the admissions office directly for assistance.)
    • Student Questionnaire
    • Academic Writing Sample
    • Parent/Guardian Questionnaire
    • Optional: Supplemental materials such as writing samples, art portfolios, or videos
    Teacher Recommendations & School Records
             Required:
    • Current English Teacher
    • Current Math Teacher
    • School Official Recommendation (includes transcript + attendance records from last and current year)
             Additional (if applicable):
    • Dorm Parent (for students who have boarded in the past two years)
    • Optional extra recommendations
    Testing Policy
    • CSW is test-optional*. You may submit SSAT, ISEE, PSAT, SAT, or ACT scores, but they're not required. We welcome these reports if you feel they help provide a fuller picture of your candidacy. *Students applying from homeschooling programs  are strongly encouraged to take and submit results of one of these standardized tests as part of their application.

    • Submit SAT/ACT/PSAT scores through your school
    • International applicants (non-native English speakers) must submit TOEFL or Duolingo English Test scores.

  • Apply for Financial Aid

    Families applying for financial aid are required to submit an application through the Clarity online system and list CSW as a recipient. As part of the financial aid application, families will complete an e-signature form and Clarity will pull verified tax documents directly from the IRS. For more information, visit our Tuition and Financial Aid page. Financial Aid applications are due for new families on January 15, 2026. CSW's code for Clarity is 4545.

  • Receive Admissions Decision

    We share notification of admissions decisions online via each family's  account. Families who apply by the January 15 deadline receive notification on March 10. Please note that we are unable to provide admissions decisions over the phone.

  • Enroll

    By signing and submitting the electronic enrollment agreement and deposit to CSW, families make their student's enrollment official! Once we receive and process the enrollment, families will receive information about academic placement and getting ready for the coming school year.

  • September - January

    Participate in optional campus events, regional fairs, in-person/virtual tours, and the required admissions interview.

  • January 15

    Deadline to submit your admissions application, schedule your interview, and submit your financial aid application (if applicable).

  • January 30

    Last day to complete the required interview. 

  • March 10

    Admissions decisions released.

  • April 10

    Enrollment commitments due.
